2025 will mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and China, a significant milestone that will provide an opportunity for further strengthening and development of bilateral ties. The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway is a key project under the China-Indonesia efforts for co-building the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Since its launch, it has not only significantly shortened the commuting time between Jakarta and Bandung but also spurred the development of cities along the route, contributing to Indonesia's modernization. As of October this year, the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway has transported over 6 million passengers. The success of this project highlights the synergistic effect of aligning the BRI with Indonesia's "Global Maritime Fulcrum" vision, setting a model for enhanced connectivity and cooperation between the two countries.
