Transport facilities at Cox's Bazar Airport (CXB)

Cox’s Bazaar Airport is not a busy airport. For most tourists, Rickshaw will be the best and cheapest options.

You will find Rickshaw, taxi, and sometimes, rent a car in the parking area of the airport.

Rickshaw #

Most rickshaws are battery-run three-wheeler. Usually, you will find rickshaws at the parking area. For shorter journeys, rickshaws are a popular and affordable option. These colorful three-wheeled vehicles are a common sight on the streets of Cox’s Bazaar and can be hailed from the airport or from various points around the city.

Rickshaws will take you to the Cox’s Bazar City.

Rickshaws do not have meter and you should negotiate the price with the driver.

Taxi #

You may find three-wheeler taxis (mostly in green color) in the parking area.

You will have to fix the fare with the driver before starting the journey as these taxis do not use meters.

You should note that after 9 PM/10 PM, you may not find any taxis at the airport.

Car rental #

At the parking area, you may find some drivers looking for passengers. However, they are not always available, specially at night.

Parking #

There is a single parking area in front of the Airport. The parking area is open with no shed.

You will find three-wheeler taxis (commonly known as CNG or auto rickshaws) and battry run rickshaws in the parking area.

Some hotels in Cox’s Bazaar offers airport pick up and drop off services. You should contact you hotel for more information.
